About Us
Colchester Mind is the leading mental health voluntary organisation for Colchester and the surrounding area. Founded in 1985, we are a registered charity, affiliated to the national charity Mind, and a company limited by guarantee with a Board of Trustees drawn from the local community. We have an annual turnover of around 1.2 million with most of our funding coming from local statutory sources. We currently employ about 45 staff, including staff seconded from the North Essex Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust and we also have a number of volunteers working on the various different projects.
