Colchester Mind seeks ‘to promote the empowerment of people experiencing mental health problems and/or emotional distress, to work towards the development and maintenance of a comprehensive mental health service that meets their needs and aspirations, and to promote mental health awareness in our community.’ In order to achieve these goals in the Colchester community, the organisation relies heavily on statutory and non-statutory funding and the fundraising and campaigning efforts of its staff, volunteers, clients, supporters and the general public. To all those who have contributed, and to those who continue to contribute, Colchester Mind is fully appreciative and thankful.
